More Landscaping
Update 9:35pm.. I'm traveling in WY and just got a call from my wife. Apparently, the extremely unusually cool and wet weather produced a wicked thunderstorm this afternoon and things do not look as pretty as they do in these pictures. They'll ultimately be okay, but right now, they are beat to shit.
So over the last month or so, I put down 300 sqft of sod along the south side of the driveway. I was able to do this because we removed some trees this past winter (you can barely see the existing beds under the trunk). This past week we brought in 16 RR ties and 3 1/2 yards of top soil to raise the tiered planters along the driveway. A few hundred dollars in perinnials and what you see below is the end result, mowed, planted and good to go. The empty whiskey barrels will eventually be planted but may not end up in their present locations.
