Starbucks Responds On Ethiopian Trademark Dispute
As many of you know, I work for Starbucks and I'm very proud to do so. So proud in fact, that it irks me to see this company which does so much good, get accused of doing something bad. So in the spirit of having my company's back, I'm crossing the line with regards to the personal and professional.
An email was recently sent out to all partners with a link to a YouTube video from Dub Hay, head of Starbucks Coffee Team. The video specifically answers some of the Trademark questions that are floating around out there. Given the questions that I've personally gotten over the urban legend about Starbucks not sending coffee to the troops, I wanted to get out ahead of this one. The email does encourage all partners to share the video with their friends and families, of which anyone who reads this blog has become a part of. Some issues cross party lines and this, I belive, is one of them.
Please watch the video posted below and if you love Starbucks Coffee as much as I do, please forward this video so we can prevent the hype.
There is a lot more information here.
