The Conference That Wasn't
*Update
Looks like now it has become the conference that was, but failed to produce to expectations. Both the Deseret Morning News and the Tribune have lead stories on this this morning. Governor Huntsman was able to secure our own state in addition to New Mexico and Arizona for a Feb 5th Primary, which puts us in front of Super Tuesday. The addition of Montana and Idaho appear to be still in the works.
Did you know that Governor Huntsman was hosting a group of thinkers along with Governor Richardson of New Mexico about a Western Regional Presidential Primary? Neither did I. John Hood, posting at the Corner, brought this to my attention this morning and I was surprised because I hadn't heard about it.
So I checked KSL. Nope.
Then the Deseret Morning News. Nothing.
How about the Tribune? Nada.
The Tribune's Politics page? Zip.
What gives?
