A couple of issues that couldn't be farther apart if they tried. First is the bi-annual LDS general conference, which takes the city by storm twice a year. If your non-LDS, the only thing it means is the you don't even try and find anything worth watching on KSL. For the un-informed, KSL, the local NBC affiliate, is owned and operated by the LDS church. We can't even get Saturday Night Live here, for Pete's Sake!
The second issue regarding Utah is this idiot, via Drudge. The end of the world and all that rot.
