Does The Tribune Advocate Revolution?

The Tribune posted a letter to the editor today that is beyond belief. Granted, the editorial staff plays no part in the actual writing of this kind of trash, but does, however, have to approve it and even gets to add the headline that is given. The headline that the Tribune has chosen for the following letter is "History Repeats." After you have read it, linked here but reprinted below, ask your self the following question: Do you get the impression, given the headline they have chosen, that the Tribune perhaps wants history, especially the history cited in this letter, to repeat?

In August 2005 President Bush left Washington for the relative solitude of his ranch in Texas. Polls showed that Americans were tiring of two and a half years of worsening, seemingly endless, war. The president said, “I think the people want a president to be in a position to make good, crisp decisions and to stay healthy. And, part of my being is to be outside exercising. So I'm mindful of what goes on around me. On the other hand, I'm also mindful that I've got a life to live and will do so.”
In March 1917 Czar Nicholas II of Russia left his palace near Petrograd for the relative solitude of his military headquarters at Mogilev. Revolution, then imminent, showed that Russians were tiring of two and a half years of worsening, seemingly endless, war. The czar said, “I shall take up dominoes again in my spare time.”

I have to wonder if the writer is also hoping for a similar outcome, you know, which involves the execution of an entire family?

If he does, I'm sure the Tribune will print it. Perhaps under the headline of "History Repeats, Part II"
